After undergoing a $22-million resort-wide renovation, The Willows Kitchen & Wine Bar has officially opened at Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona. The new culinary destination will offer resort guests scratch-made American fare with complementary wines from a comprehensive selection.
The Willows Kitchen & Wine Bar opened in September, marking a new, opulent spot in Sedona’s growing dining scene. The latest addition is located inside the Polo Diablo Resort as a part of its $22-million renovation project.
The dining spot was inspired by the surrounding willow trees shading the resort’s grounds, and like its beautiful surroundings, the restaurant was designed with a warm color palette, offering tones of red and orange as a homage to Sedona’s famous red rocks. Its interior also features natural wood and stone elements, with two private dining spaces encompassed by glass.
The menu was created by executive chef and director of food & beverage, Evan Campbell. The lineup consists of eclectic, from-scratch American fare, made up of small plates, dinner mains and a la carte dishes. Some items guests can expect to enjoy include the Firecracker Shrimp Wraps, lobster risotto, lobster rolls and The Willows’ signature meatballs. Each dish is crafted with the freshest ingredients, including seafood that is flown in daily.
To complement each plate, The Willow Kitchen & Wine Bar offers a carefully curated wine selection, including locally-sourced wines from Arizona’s Verde Valley, in addition to comprehensive cocktail, beer and mocktail offerings.
In addition to savory dinner plates, The Willows Sedona also offers a breakfast menu, featuring lemon-ricotta pancakes with house-made blueberry syrup or, for those who prefer to start their mornings with something a bit more savory, the pork schnitzel, amongst other items.
The Willows Kitchen & Wine Bar is open Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
