toca madera scottsdale Almond Butter Toast 4

Toca Madera Scottsdale

Sleek, sexy and seriously scrumptious French toast. Toca Madera Scottsdale ups the Valley brunch experience with a slew of fresh eats, cocktails and even a new memory-making disposable camera activation.

When it opened near Scottsdale Fashion Square in 2019 (as a follow-up to its popular West Hollywood outpost), Toca Madera Scottsdale become one of the Valley’s top nightlife destinations. Though the restaurant’s visually stunning design and high-energy atmosphere make it a favorite for a dressed-up night out, brunchtime at Toca Madera means a laidback spot to savor the weekend. And, now, there are even more delicious brunch eats and creative cocktails to enjoy.

Some of the sweet new offerings include the vanilla cast-iron pancake, topped with berries and whipped cream, and almond butter toast, paired with fresh honeycomb (pictured at top of page). Toca Madera Scottsdale isn’t fooling around when it comes to French toast, either. Its tres leches version features a fat slice of brioche bread, with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, fresh berries, cinnamon whipped cream, orange zest tuile and cajeta. The loaded breakfast burrito is a savory new addition, brimming with turkey sausage, poblano chile, red onion, tomato, soft scrambled eggs, chihuahua cheese, ranchero salsa, sour cream and slightly spicy papas bravas. The breakfast sandwich is another favorite for those wanting a more traditional–but incredibly delicious–a.m. dish, also sided with the crispy papas bravas.

Because brunch isn’t complete without something special to sip, order up one of the newest cocktails: the spicy Nueva Vida or fruit-forward Aye Mami and Chiquita Banana. (A wide range of margaritas and next-level coffee drinks are also available.)

Though the French toast will be memorable without the photographic evidence, the brand-new and nostalgia-inducing TOCA MADERA x STRAP PHOTO CAMERA ($45) is too fun to skip. Via the activation, a disposable camera is delivered to the table and can be used to snap photos during your brunch (Toca Madera Scottsdale has endless gorgeous backdrops for selfies with friends). Then, the restaurant will provide a prepaid shipping box to send the camera in to be developed, and you’ll receive your photos back within a few days. Cool, right?

Brunch is served weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, visit tocamadera.com/locations/scottsdale.
