Center Court Pickleball Club, a fresh and top-tier indoor pickleball establishment, is set to impress its members with the grand opening of three Valley locations in 2024.
Center Court is dedicated to enhancing the indoor pickleball experience, offering facilities akin to those found in upscale gyms or golf clubs, all the while extending a warm welcome to community members of every skill level. At the heart of Center Court’s allure are its state-of-the-art courts. Each court, regulation-sized or larger, is designed to make every player feel like they’re on center stage. But the courts are just the beginning of the extravagant offerings that await members.
The amenities at Center Court will rival luxurious fitness and leisure establishments. Imagine a players’ lounge, well-appointed locker rooms complete with showers, a wellness area featuring hydro massage and cryotherapy chairs, a designated stretch area, a retail shop, a beverage tap wall, grab-and-go food options and spacious social gathering and viewing areas. Above all, Center Court is dedicated to ensuring that players connect with like-skilled counterparts and spend minimal time waiting for their next match.
CEO Wayne Morris, a true pickleball enthusiast, is the driving force behind Center Court’s vision. With over two decades of experience in the health club industry and previous executive roles at esteemed establishments like The Ritz-Carlton and Ochsner Health, Morris is well-equipped to create an extraordinary members-only experience. Teaming up with Tarl Robinson, the founder of Plexus Worldwide, they have forged the ultimate destination for enthusiasts of America’s fastest-growing sport.
“Pickleball enthusiasts deserve more than crowded courts and an unreliable game experience,” says Morris, in a press release. “Center Court Pickleball Club offers a premier indoor facility and exclusive community so you can connect with players that love the game as much as you do.”
Morris’s ambition is to provide a curated, members-only experience for all players and their guests, uniting them in their love for pickleball. The company is privately funded and has secured leases for facilities in Gilbert and Glendale, with a Scottsdale location in the final stages of development. Moreover, the pickleball spot plans to expand beyond the Phoenix metro area within the next 18 to 24 months.
Center Court Gilbert, a 30,000-sq.-ft. facility boasting 10 courts, will open its doors in late Spring 2024. Meanwhile, Center Court Glendale, spanning an impressive 47,000 square feet with 16 courts, will commence operations in early Summer 2024.
