Favorite ways to spend family time in AZ: One of my favorite ways to spend time with my family is swimming in the pool. We love to go swimming during the summer time, play catch and my amazing wife will make me and the boys pizookies!

Your most rewarding fatherhood moment: My most rewarding fatherhood moment was when my youngest son was born. I was able to be the one to deliver him in the hospital. I was the first person to touch him, hug him and look in his eyes. I think about it on a regular basis. It was powerful.

Biggest challenge as a dad: The biggest challenge as a dad for me is I’m pretty much always tired (LOL). I can barely keep up with their energy after coming home from work sometimes!

A father who inspires you and why: My friend, Estil, inspired me as a dad. I watch him and how seriously he takes the position of fatherhood and strives to make every moment count when he’s raising his children. It’s a beautiful thing.

Best piece of advice for a new dad: The best piece of advice I have for a new dad is “this too shall pass.” Not just the hard part, like running on a couple hours of sleep or getting thrown up on but also the good ones. The ones you will hold dear to your heart and wish you could relive will come and go. Be present and be grateful.

Your biggest hope for your children: My biggest hope for my children is that they live a life full of happiness, peace and love.

How are you celebrating Father’s Day? With my wife and kids! Outside of that, I think they have some plans that I’m not aware of just yet.
