Who is Todd Allison?
Todd Allison is from Coronado Island, San Diego, and is now the Executive Chef of T. Cook’s and Royal Palms Resort and Spa. Chef Todd obtained his Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale. When not in the kitchen, he enjoys the great outdoors – surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, hiking, competing in triathlons, exploring new restaurants and traveling the world.
What is Todd Allison’s Story?
Todd Allison started cooking family dinners after his parents were divorced when he was 13 and started washing dishes professionally at 15, working his way up through the ranks. He eventually worked for Chef James Boyce for 10 years both at Mary Elaine’s at the Phoenician and Studio at the Montage and Chef Michael Mina at Aqua in the St Regis Monarch Beach. He believes he got where he is today by putting his head down and working hard every day and going after what he wanted, with no regrets.
