ALMA Scottsdale, the beloved dining spot renowned for its Southwest-inspired Mexican cuisine, has launched its weekend brunch service. With tempting offerings ranging from churro waffles to a comforting bowl of menudo, ALMA Scottsdale has a delightful brunch experience waiting to be savored by all guests.
A woman-owned and -operated restaurant, ALMA Scottsdale places a strong emphasis on utilizing only the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Curated by owner and Executive Chef Sheila Bryson, the menu includes a carefully selected range of shareable dishes, salads, soups and mains, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free choices readily available. Adding to its Southwestern culinary lineup, ALMA Scottsdale has introduced an assortment of unique brunch offerings exclusively available on Saturdays and Sundays.
The new menu caters to every palate and craving, offering a diverse selection of sweet, indulgent plates and savory bites. Guests can relish in new items like the churro waffles served with dulce de leche and strawberries; chilaquiles featuring fried corn tortillas, red and green chilies, crema, queso fresco, cilantro and choice of eggs; or a spicy chorizo omelet loaded with chorizo, cilantro, cheddar jack, avocado, pinto beans and a fresh flour tortilla.
A few seasonal items have also been sprinkled throughout the new menu, such as the pumpkin pancakes (pictured above) topped with candied pecans and pomegranate coulis, as well as a hearty bowl of menudo featuring honeycomb tripe, onion, garlic, beef feet, red chili, cilantro, green onion and bolillo.
No weekend brunch experience would be complete without a beverage or two, and ALMA Scottsdale offers an array of options for both cocktail enthusiasts and mocktail aficionados. Those in search of a refreshing crafted cocktail can choose from sips like the vibrant Pineapple Strawberry Sangria, blending fresh pineapples, strawberries, citrus and white wine; the Over-The-Top Michelada with Mexican beer, housemade michelada mix, lime, Chamoy, Tajin, a chili straw, cucumber and chilled jumbo shrimp; or stick to the classic mimosa with your choice of bubbles paired with guava, mango, peach or pomegranate.
