Sid’s Garage to Open at Desert Ridge Marketplace

The latest addition to hit Desert Ridge Marketplace is Sid’s Garage, a high-energy concept from Idaho that is bringing elevated comfort food, over-the-top milkshakes and a place for visitors to “let their hair down” to Phoenix. The new spot is slated to open this spring and has recently begun development.

The former home of Nori Sushi, Sid’s Garage will be located across from the splash pad, spanning 3,269 square feet. The space will feature an oversized outdoor patio, a full bar, adult gaming areas and private dining spaces for intimate gatherings.

“We believe Sid’s Garage is a perfect complement to our already stellar lineup of dining options,” says Katie Hauptman, marketing director for Desert Ridge Marketplace, in a press release. “We are confident that the fun atmosphere and exciting menu will be a hit with our customers.”

Sid’s Garage will have guests coming for the fare and colossal shakes, but they will certainly stay for the live music, gaming center and an all-around good time. The menu features items that are elevated American staples, like the Boss Hog burger, made with a combination of Wagyu beef and Black Angus, topped with a 48-hour roasted pork belly, onion rings and a scratch-made sriracha-bourbon sauce, or the bacon and eggs starter, with four pieces of candied bacon suspended above two flash-fried deviled eggs, served alongside a honey mustard dipping reduction.

A rotating, eccentric milkshake will be available monthly, with the grand opening shake, the Sweet Baby Jesus, available for the destination’s grand debut. The sweet treat features birthday cake buttercream, vanilla bean ice cream, sprinkles and a big slice of funfetti cake to top it all off.
