Horse & Hyde Country Bar Now Open in Arcadia

Indulge in Sonoran-inspired cuisine, live music and handcrafted cocktails at Horse & Hyde Country Bar, now open in Arcadia.

Aaron Lopo, the founder of Dapper & Stout Coffee, Cocktails and Eatery, has pushed the boundaries of a stereotypical country bar with the launch of his latest venture, Horse & Hyde. This Nashville-style bar, located in Arcadia, invites people to immerse themselves in live music, sip on handcrafted cocktails and savor the delicious Sonoran-inspired food.

“I’ve always loved all things country, and I wanted to develop a concept that challenges the stigma of traditional country bars,” Lopo says in a press release. “I love to build spaces and create something where people want to go every day. There is a lot of escapism coming into a restaurant. I like knowing that I get to be a part of our customers’ day and ensure they have the most memorable experience here.”

live music

Horse & Hyde is an intimate space that features a stage, dance floor, full bar, dining area, patio and a high-quality sound system, providing an exceptional listening experience for both guests and performers. Live music takes place five days a week, and if you’re looking to be a country star, it has an open-mic night every Wednesday.

The menu offers an array of Sonoran cowboy cuisine. Noteworthy dishes include the mouthwatering braised beef panini, with smoked gouda, crispy caramelized onions and a trail aioli; the Hermosillo Dog, made with local chorizo, ranch-style beans and jalapenos served on a fresh brioche bun; and the Wild West Potato Nachos, topped with barbebue pork or chicken, a three-cheese blend, jalapenos and green chile salsa served on a mountain of kettle chips.

Horse & Hyde offers an extensive selection of classic cocktails, a full bar, wine, draft beers and seltzers, but its signature cocktails steal the show. Indulge in signature handcrafted cocktails like the Smokin’ Joe, blending Gracias a Dios Oaxacan gin, Vida mezcal, dry curacao, lime juice, chipotle pineapple and orange bitters; the Buckin’ Bronco, a mix of Maison Rouge cognac, Mr Black coffee liqueur, demerara syrup and Dapper & Stout’s espresso blend; and the City Slicker, a harmonious fusion of Whistle Pig six-year rye, Antica sweet vermouth, Averna Amaro, orange and angostura bitters with a hint of cacao.

Horse & Hyde is open Tuesday through Friday, starting at 3 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.
