Chef/Owner Ivan Jacobo of the award-winning fine-dining kitchen, Anhelo, and an Estrella Mountain Community College alum, is giving back to the Estrella community by launching the Anhelo Restaurant Scholarship Foundation and hosting a wine dinner on Thursday, March 23, at 6 p.m. The goal is to raise funds to award four (4) full-ride scholarships to the Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Culinary Arts program at Estrella Mountain Community College. This would cover costs including tuition, materials, books and tool kits for four (4) students.
